Tophat 01 Gold was also the U16 1998-1999 Georgia state champion, winning a state cup final on Sunday, 13 December 1998 against Cobb Y Avalanche. Tophat 01 Gold is a now a five-time state champion, last year representing Georgia at the USYSA Region III Championships at Edmond OK, where the team advanced to a penalty kick competition for the wild card entry to semifinals. In 1998, the team represented Georgia in the USYSA Region III Tournament at Columbus, Georgia, in June, 1998 as the 1997-1998 U15 champion. Tophat 01 Gold was also the 1995 U12 and 1996 U14 Georgia State Champion. From September 1996 to July 1998 the team compiled a record of 49-14-8 against major competition. See Tophat 01 Gold
Tophat 01 Gold StaffTophat 01 Gold is currently coached by Andy Trevers and was previously coached by Carey Wilson from 1993-1998. Andy Trevers, the Director of Player Development at the Tophat Soccer Club, formerly played in the Tottenham Hot Spurs organization in England and was the Director of Coaching for the Cobb Union Soccer Club from 1991-1998. In addition to his experience as a former professional and coach, Andy also holds the USSF C License.
